Today is Passover

Updated: Apr 5, 2023

April 3rd 2023
The Day of the new moon marked the 1st day of the month, March 21st.
Count 14 days, April 3rd, is Passover, in the evening eat a Passover meal.

We are to observe it with a meal tonight while remembering that the Father brought the Israelites out captivity from Egypt and the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ.

We should tell our Children these Bibilical stories. Let them know the importance of these times. Tell them that the Father loved us so much that he resuced his people physically and eternally.

We should tell them that the Lord's people are those who have faith in Christ, the Faith OF Christ, and keep his commandments.

They are not people in a particular bloodline or religion.

Tomorrow, April 4th, 2023, is the 1st day of Unleavened Bread a Holy Day of rest.
We are to observe this week in reflection of the commandments. See if there are things we need to change in our lives. Biblical tradition is to remove all leaven from the home. To eat unleavened bread during this week.
We are to examine our lives to see if they are acceptable to the Lord by the Word of God.

The 7th day of this week, or 21st day of the month, is April 10th, another Holy Day of rest.

1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.
Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

I do not keep the Holy days according to the Jewish calculations. I use scriptures only.
I hope you enjoy your time with the family and with the Lord.
