Pentecost- Holy Day

Yesterday 05/28/2023 was Pentecost counted as directed by Leviticus 23.

We are to count 7-7th day Sabbaths (saturdays) from the sunday within the week of unleavened bread plus a day, 50 days total, to reach the date of Pentecost. Pentecost always falls on a Sunday.

We should observe this day as we have been commanded. No work, for us or others around us. No buying or selling, no chores.

A memorial to the day the Father sent the comforter to us.

We should praise and worship the Father in gratitude. Sing songs, tell the Biblical stories of those times of the Frist Pentecost. Explain to our kids what it means and what a previlege it is to have the Spirit of the Father on us.
