Do we know what year Christ will return in?

I don't think we can since we do not have a log showing us the time between all the generations. We can make a rough estimate based on some other factors in scriptures like how long men ruled Israel, periods of captivity, 490 years predicted by Daniel, and use secular records.

The theory is we, the world, will live in sin for 6000 milliennias from the fall of man, not creation. Then Christ will return to gather his people for the 1000 year millennia at the end of the 6th millennia. I'm not opposed to this theory, it makes sense to me. We just don't know what year that will be.

It is assumed that the 1st Adam fell from grace at the same age as the 2nd Adam, Christ, completed his life on earth. 33.5 years of age.

Others say a different number for the 1st year. How will we know the truth.

We can acurately estimate the number of years from the creation of Adam to the deah of Jacob due to the genology scriptures give. Beyond this record, time keeping is sketchy.

The below chart lists the ages each person was when the next one was born, and the age of death with the corresponding years at that time.

The Jewish Calendar says 5783 for Feb of 2023- according to this calendar we have 217 years until we even reach 6k from creation. That would mean we would have another 1217 to go plus a few extra years to factor in the 33.5 when man fell into sin. (1250.5 to complete 6 millenia's.

(ages calculated by Yr of birth (130) + age when sired the fisrt son (105) so Seth sired in the year 235.

date of death calculated by year of his birth + the number of years lived = date of death. Seth was born in the year 130 + # of years lived 912 = date of date 1042)

The Jewish calendar is not accurate in my opinion because it doesn't give a realistic count of the generations of man. If we take 2168 birth year of Jacob and 2022 years that is 4190. We have to minus that from 5783 figure we get 1593 years which leaves 51 generations between the birth of Jacob/Israel and the birth of Christ.

1593 years for 51 generations to be born in, that would mean that each man had to sire a son at age 30 (31.24 yrs old average) give or take a year or two for this to work.

Look above at the history of the age of men when they sired a son. IS this a fair assumtion (age 30 when sired the next) ? I think not. The average age there was 102.66 years old.

If we take 50 generations and mulitly it by 30 yrs (age of each man at birth of son) that eqauls 1500 years. That is assuming that each generation sired at age 30. If we add 1500 (50 generations) to 2258 (years from creation to Jacob) that equals 3758 plus the last 2022 years equals 5780 total years.

There is no way that the Jewish calendar is correct in their estimation of what year it is since creation.

If they were 40 when they sired to the next genoration that would take 2000 years to get to the 50th.

The Jewish calendar doesn't allow for 50 generations between Judah and Christ.

If every one had their next child at 50 that would be 2500 years.

That would calculate to 4758 (2258+2500) when Christ was born. then add the last 2022 years to get 6780.

This of course is if we believe that 6000 years has past us living in the 6th millienna currently.

I've heard some theorize that since the Lord uses specific numbers as markers or signs that they hold meaning, and I agree with that statement. They used this method to help us see roughly when Christ will return presumming the timeline using 4004BC as being correct.

We are told no one knows the day or the hour when that will occur except the Father, but we are expected to watch and learn from scriptures to know when the time is near. We may not be able to pin point the exact year, but we can see the signs spoken of in scriptures.

All these things must happen prior to the return of Christ. it has been prophesied.

Some say that the 2 total eclipse's over the US are a sign of the end. That they will cross paths in an X pattern over Southern Illinois and will cause the 1st earthquake ever in Memphis TN. The one on 08/21/2017 and the one to come on 04/08/2024 that it marks the end of the world for 2031. According to them 2024 event marks the last 7 years of life left on earth.

There is 7 years between 2017 to 2024 so if their count is off by an eclipse then 2024 could be the when Christ returns.

I'm not convinced nor in agreeance because the entire world can not see this sign, not even the entire US. This is also not a sign the Lord told us to look for at the time of his 2nd coming.

Plus if this group is using the timeline starting in 4004BC then the years wouldn't match up as the end of the 6th mellinna from the fall of man would be 2026 or 27 verses 2024 or 2031.

I do believe that we are living in the last days. That Christ's return is immeinant, but I do not put faith that it will be in the next decade. If he does come back great, but I'm not expecting it that soon. There are to many prophecies not yet fulfilled. The remnent is still growing.

If we take out all the assumtions given, and use the facts that are left in scriptures we do not know exactly how many years have past and remain before the return of Christ.

Example: if the end of the world is set for 2050 (only known by the Father) the lost figures (50 generations of time) can be adjusted. Meaning that if the end is further in the future, then the past years count can be adjusted. We do not know how many years past from Judah to Christ. I looked through scriptures to find the birth date and death date of a couple of the men, and they are not listed.

There are some listings of how long certian men ruled Israel, but those counts still do not take us through the full 50 generations. There are periods in time listed like the 430 years Israel was in Egypt, 40 years in the wilderness, and Moses died 10 years after they were out of the wilderness, and the 490 years Daniel predicted pre and during the 1st coming of Christ. These are certain. The last week in Daniels prediction talks about the ministry and death of Christ and stopping the need for sacrifices and oblations becuase of His sacrifice. That Christ will die in the middle of that week. Remember a week in prophecy is a 7 years. So the middle would be 3.5 years which was the length of time Christ was ministering to the Jews. He was also Crucified on a Wednesday which is the middle of an actual week.

The only way we'd truely know what year we are in is if we had a detailed ledger of the birth and death of men in that geneology from Jacob to Christ. We would have to depend on men for those facts, which I don't. I trust scripture 1st and foremost above everything else.

The Lord told us not to focus on the geneologies. So my research in this matter will stop here.

prophecies have been given for a week or weeks which is 7 days,

 Dan 9:24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

 Dan 9:25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

 Dan 9:26 (7+62=69)And after threescore and two weeks (62) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Dan 9:27

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst (middle) of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

plus a week is 7 days. And we should work 6 days and then rest to keep the 7th day holy.

Exo 20:8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

 Exo 20:9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

 Exo 20:10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

 Exo 20:11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Work your land 6 years and let it rest on the 7th

 Exo 23:10And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

 Exo 23:11But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

So it would make since we should live through 6 millienna in sin and rest in the 7th millienna

Also the Lord holds dear the Jubiliee which is a period of 50 years Lev 25:8 , and matches the 50 generations between Judah and Christ.

Lev 25:10

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

40 is also often used. These verses are prophectic verses showing that a day equals a year.

Eze 4:4Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

 Eze 4:5For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

 Eze 4:6And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise

Some have said that their count for Christ to come begins when Adam and Eve sinned, not at creation. They also say that since Christ was the 2nd Adam that must have been the age Adam was when they sinned. That this is a symbol given by the Father to help us know the times.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

1Co 15:46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

 1Co 15:49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

33 this is a favorite number of the secret societys such as the Masons, Illuminati, and others.

Why would Satan use this number? Maybe because that is the year man fell and became sinners and he became the prince of this world.

I couldn't find them, but had many articles during the CV19 uptick that claimed 33 cases here, there, and everywhere.
