Who are the 2 witnesses?

There is a rumor that they will be 2 individuals, most likely Moses and Elijah.

What if I told you and showed you that this is not accurate? Would you listen?

I have written out the scriptures at the bottom of this article that talk about the 2 witness'. There's only 1 passage in the entire Bible that speaks on this. I have paraphrased the passage below with added comments.

Let us keep in mind this is a prophetic passage of things not yet to come (at the time it was written 98 AD) We also need to look for like time frames to let us know when something is going to happen.

Break down of the passage:

42 months-the Holy City shall they tread under foot. The holy city is the faithful to the Lord. The foot holder would be the one who rules over the others by force. This would be the time frame the Antichrist will rule over all nations by force for 1260 days/years.

They shall prophesy (the witnesses) -- they spoke of 42 months,1260 days/years time frame.- Both old and new testaments shed light to our futures.

Clothed in sackcloth, in OT times sackcloth was worn by prophets. In prophetic passages it means to repent.

2 Olive trees and 2 lampstands (candlesticks)- Zech 4:1-10 the 2 olive trees and lampstand in that passage to represent "not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord" vs6 “ These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” Vs14 The candlestick described in this passage is a Menorah, pic below.

They represent the 2 anointed ones of the Father

These 2 prophets will have the ability to throw fire from their mouths, devour their enemies if anyone tries to hurt them; he must in this manner be killed- They have the power to shut heaven, That it not rain in their prophecy- Have power over the waters (peoples) to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.- This is not meant to be a realistic depiction of abilities or events held by the witnesses. These are to show us how powerful the Word of God is.

The witnesses condemns the wicked.

It says to me: The truth will set you free, the truth will overpower your enemies. denial of the truth will close the door to you, and you will not receive or hear it. Only those who seek will find. You, in unbelief, will be turned over to a reprobate mind, fooled by the great delusion. Rom 1:28, Titus 1:16

When their testimony is over the beast shall ascend out of the bottomless pit and make war with them, shall overcome them, and kill them. After the 1260 year reign the Devil shall war with them, overcome them, and kill them. This is all of God’s laws being made a mockery of, the majority of opinion will NOT follow the law of the Father, and eventually kill those who do. There is no time frame for how long this period will last.

Testimony-teaching the faithful.

And their bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified. And the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; Those that see or watch are those who hated the law of God, who feel we no longer need the law of God, or who refuse to keep the law of God.

The 2 witnesses shall lie dead for 3.5 days, their bodies NOT put into graves-3.5 days is years, they will lie dead for 3.5 years. Could have been During the French Revolutionary war Bibles were collected and burned that this references. Days of the week were changed to have 10 days instead of 7, and Churches were closed. This was just after the time of the fall of the Vatican (1798). 1793-1797. A period of 3.5 years where the Law of God was mocked and they rejoiced for their evils.

Could be still a future event to come where the Bibles will be collected, burned and left in the street.

And after 3.5 days the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. The Lord Kept them whole and uncorrupted and gave them life back from the Spirit of life from God, they stood for the Laws of the Father, and the others feared them.

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. This is describing the 1st resurrection when Christ calls all his faithful followers (dead and alive) to the sky to meet him. And the wicked, the others see the faithful being drawn up to the sky.

And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of me seven thousand; and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory the God of heaven. The second woe has passed.

The 3rd Woe is the 2nd resurrection and Hellfire. Time for judgment, read more of Chapter 11 to see.

With all the above information factoring in time frames we can clearly see that the 2 witnesses were/are not 2 individuals, as the 42 months/1260 days/years has already come and gone via the Vatican. Other prophecies have explained that time frame in detail. The other time frame spoken of in this chapter was 3.5 days/years they will lie dead in the streets. We’ve also not seen this physically happen either with people. So the rumor of them being people is not possible unless our Father will be practicing magic to cause 2 human folks to life over 1200 each. He is not one to practice evils.

What has everlasting power here on earth now?

What two items agree on every point?

What 2 things are here now and anointed by the Father?

What 2 things condemns the wicked, prophecies the future, and teaches the faithful?

If ALL of your answers were not the BIBLE, the Old and New Testaments then it should be.

These are the 2 Olive trees, and the 2 candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

And after 3 and half days the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
